This first edition of the EducNum competition was open to students for projects that target younger kids and increase their awareness of the dangers of digital life. The Jury Award went to Nolwenn Maudet from LRI and Thomas Thibault for their project Data Fiction. Using the same online tools and services used by children and teenagers, Data Fiction shows the user to what extent their personal data (location, contacts, web navigation) is exposed. Through three successive stages (discovery, appropriation, misappropriation), this game bets on the power of living an experience to raise the user's awareness. Yannis Manoussakis passed away6 June 2021We have just learned of the death of Yannis Manoussakis, Professor at the University of Paris-Saclay, on Saturday June 5.
He was the leader of the GALaC team and had been for many years director of the LRI, we lose a friend and a dear colleague.
