The goal of this France-Canada Research Foundation project is to forge a collaboration in the field of quantum computation between two strong groups at LRI, Orsay, and University of Waterloo. We will study methods for the design of efficient quantum computer algorithms, and also methods for exposing the limitations of specific computational approaches.
